Cottonwood Builders offers full service Design/Build remodeling. If you can imagine it we can build it (within structural limitations). We help with material and color selection and comparison. No project is too small or too large. We offer room additions, garage conversions, patio enclosures, interior and/or exterior renovations, kitchen and bath remodeling.

We understand that your home is not a commercial building or vacant new home under construction. We do not allow our crews to play loud music, smoke or use vulgar language at our occupied job sites. We clean up after ourselves and require our people to act as guests in your home while they are working there.

In our remodeling projects that involve cabinetry we offer true custom cabinets built in our own cabinet shop. Our cabinets are custom built in any size to fit your home. Factory cabinets are built only in standard sizes. Large and unsightly filler strips are used to make them fit your space.

We are one of the few sources for truly custom cabinets in the Las Cruces area. Our superior quality cabinets, built in our own cabinet shop can be built out of any available wood. Commonly available woods include: Oak in several varieties, Hickory, Maple, Walnut, Alder and Pine. A multitude of colors, shades, hues and lusters are available. On most kitchens we can build and install the entire kitchen without the use of filler strips. In no case will we use a filler strip wider than ½ inch. We use only high quality hinges and drawer slides. We also offer a wide variety of slide outs and a long list of other options including full extension drawer slides and “lazy susans” that actually work. We use roller bearings with a 1,000 pound capacity which rotate very smoothly even under heavy load. Our custom cabinet shop can build anything you have seen and almost anything you can imagine.

Cost for a superior quality truly custom kitchen from our shop is similar to and sometimes a little lower than that of a mass produced kitchen available from the major home centers or other suppliers of factory cabinets. How is this possible? It’s quite simple: Low overhead and no middle men. Spend all of your money on quality cabinetry, not layers of overhead and markups.
